Lubi-Lubi (A Waray Folk Song)

"Lubi-Lubi" is a folk song also called "An Mga Bulan" (The Months). This version in the Philippine Waray language celebrates the pleasures of eating native food all year round. Mark and Jo of Happy Garaje charmingly depict the various ways that people who live on the southern island of Leyte enjoy coconuts throughout the changing seasons. In the back of the book young readers are introduced to the diverse uses of the marvelous coconut tree, also known as the "Tree of Life."
